About this game

Gold Bhop is a retro arcade first-person shooter rendered on a hand-written raycasting engine. You spawn in a compact arena full of brick, metal and concrete walls and face wave after wave of hunter drones that close in to damage you. Movement is the real weapon: hold SPACE, strafe and turn your mouse into the same direction to bunny-hop like a Quake veteran and accelerate to absurd speeds — the faster you move, the wider your field of view becomes. Earn 100+ points per drone kill, grab dropped medkits, survive as long as you can and chase the Max UPS record (units per second). Runs in the browser with no libraries — pointer lock, WASD + mouse, desktop recommended. Ideal for speedrunners and fans of retro 3D.
